Sending an assessment - Error message : the email address already exists. What to do ?
Why are you receiving this message?
This error message means that the candidate has already received an invitation to complete the AtmanCo test via this same email address. The email address serves as a unique identifier for each assessment and therefore cannot be used more than once.
You are not the sender of this first email (or another user in your company)?
We invite you to contact us by email at support@atmanco.com with the subject line: "Email already used". Please indicate the candidate's full name and email address.
We will confirm if the results are available and if they are still valid.
1st case: Results are not available
The candidate received an invitation but did not complete the test.
In this case, here are your options:
Option 1: Ask your candidate to provide you with another email address to which you can send the invitation.
Option 2: Send it to a fictitious email address. Then, you can copy the hyperlink and manually send an e-mail invitation to his or her assessment.
Here is how to proceed:
- Send the evaluation as usual (using the Send Test button) and use a fictitious email address. (For example, by adding any word or letters to his address: ptremblay_fictif@entreprise.com).
- Once the assessment has been submitted, navigate to the 'People' section, find the name of the candidate in question, put your cursor on the candidate's line and click on the 'Edit' button on the right.
- Then select the '...' button and choose 'Copy the direct link to the assessment'.
- Paste the link and send it to the candidate with your personal email.
2ndcase: Results are available
If the assessment was completed less than two years ago, we do not recommend retaking it. If the assessment was completed more than two years ago, the candidate may retake the assessment.
If you wish to have access to the candidate's profile, we need the candidate's authorization. This must be sent to us by the candidate by email.
Here is how to proceed:
1. Send a request for authorization by email to the candidate.
2. When sending the authorization request email, please add support@atmanco.com in CC.
3. Specify to the candidate to reply "all' when sending the authorization.
The request will be processed within 24 to 48 hours following receipt of the authorization. As soon as the profile is available in your account, we will send you a confirmation email.
